Watch Waterparks' Cinematic Live Video For High Definition

Ahead of the release of their upcoming FANDOM: Live In The UK concert film and live album, Waterparks have shared another video from the set: the emotional High Defintion.

Their latest teaser showcases just how much attention to detail has gone into FANDOM: Live In The UK, with the Texan trio clearly treating this as anything but your standard live release. In fact, replying to a fan on Twitter about unveiling these videos in advance, frontman Awsten Knight explained that he feels like "if everyone just got it all in one giant lump sum, a lot would get overlooked or under-appreciated, so that's why I want to drop some before". And the focus this time is rightly on High Definition.

Meanwhile, of FANDOM: Live In The UK as a whole, Awsten says: "I’ve always wanted Waterparks to have a live concert DVD because I used to love watching them from other bands so much.

"The thing is, I wanted to approach it differently and try to make it into more of an art piece rather than strictly documentation of a night. As a co-director [along with Jawn Rocha], I wanted it to be like an IMAX Waterparks show but in an alternate universe and so every song is warped out and stylised to look how it feels to me while we’re performing. It took us six months of editing daily to create what we consider an innovative/abstract experience while still remaining cohesive and thoughtful. Order a physical copy when they drop because I designed the inside/outside of the packaging and it looks so tight, bless you and stay safe."
