Weezer Appeared On Jimmy Fallon To Perform A Barbershop Version Of Buddy Holly

Ahead of their new album, Weezer appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to perform Buddy Holly… in barbershop style!

Teaming up with Fallon's own Ragtime Gals barbershop band, Weezer's ode to the '50s rock 'n' roll superstar was given a fun-time a cappella makeover.

But it's not just the vocal harmonies that are impressive, just take a look at those outfits! Weirdly, it kinda suits Weezer, but we've never seen Rivers Cuomo look so awkward and uncomfortable onstage.

This isn't the first time we've heard Weezer go barbershop though, their track My Evaline (B-side to 1994 single Undone – The Sweater Song) is a short but sweet showcase of their four-part harmony skills.

Weezer released a surprise covers album earlier this year, and their Black Album will be released on March 1.

The band are headlining Brixton O2 Academy in London on June 29. Get your tickets now.
