Wendy's Just Viciously Roasted A Hardcore Dude On Twitter
In honor of #nationalroastday, the burger chain referenced Hawthorne Heights and Terror while roasting a follower.
Did you know that today is National Roast Day, a day to celebrate roasts both culinary (say, a pork shoulder) and comedic (ribbing someone to death with good-natured barbs)? Well, apparently fast food chain Wendy's does. In honor of the day, the burger joint is firing off some hot and delicious insults to followers who reach out to them with the hashtag '#nationalroastday.'
One such follower, Brandon Shaw, invited Wendy's to bring the pain. In response, the Wendy's Twitter fired back with jab that not only showed off their viciousness, but also displayed their knowledge of hardcore:
If that weren't enough, Ohio metalcore act Miss May I decided to get in on the action -- and Wendy's went right back in for Round 2.
OOF. That shit is cold, Wendy's.
The lesson here: before you ask Dave Thomas & Co. to call you out in public, take a look at your profile pic and whether or not you look like a Baconator just waiting to happen.
