You Me At Six announce deluxe version of SUCKAPUNCH

New songs! An orchestra! Going on tour with Bring Me The Horizon! You Me At Six have been busy…

Hot on the news that they’ll be joining Bring Me The Horizon on their massive UK arena tour in September, You Me At Six have announced a fancy, expanded version of their chart-topping SUCKAPUNCH album, and released an alternate version of Voicenotes.

The new version of the album, originally released in January, comes with three new tracks – Read My Mind, Headshot, and Serotonin Szn – as well as a trio of alternate versions of songs from the original album. One of these, Glasgow, saw the band heading to London’s Abbey Road Studios to record with a 30-piece orchestra. Voicenotes, meanwhile, has been turned into a more electronic version of the original.

After putting SUCKAPUNCH out in January and amidst the ongoing pandemic we found ourselves in an interesting place, we can’t tour, but don’t feel ready to start a new project,” says frontman Josh Franceschi. We remembered there were a bunch of songs we’d made in Thailand that were kind of half completed. Serotonin Szn & Headshot, so we wanted to finish what we’d started. Being able to include Glasgow, Live from Abbey Road, with a full orchestra just really ties it all together. We feel we’ve added something to a record we’re all collectively so proud of.”

The band will be teaming up with Bring Me The Horizon on their arena tour in September.
