An alternative taken on Iron Maiden using artificial intelligence – this is Power Gravy!

YouTuber Uses Artificial Intelligence To Make Fake Iron Maiden Song, Power Gravy

Following on from the AI recreations of Metallica's Deliverance Rides and Nirvana's Smother, YouTuber and tech wizard Funk Turkey has used artificial intelligence to create a brand new Iron Maiden song called... Power Gravy!

Scraping all of Maiden's lyrics from the Genius Lyrics Database, Funk Turkey (real name Kirt Connor) used a Markov chain mathematical system to write his own song. And the end result really is something!

"Vocals are.... hard," says Kirt. "Bruce Dickinson is very hard to emulate/impersonate, so I just did the best I could and hope it's not awful. That man has golden pipes. It sounds like a South Park parody, but then again, it is a parody, so... uhhhh... don't take it too seriously."

And we have to say, the inspired opening line of '8 and 40 souls became the number of the moon' made us burst out laughing. But that's nothing compared to the epic, anthemic chorus of 'After all go to the gravy / It’s always there bleeding to the sky / Now it seems the power of the gravy / Woe to say, I know you’ll be a God.'

Is this the greatest ode to a Sunday roast ever? Quite possibly.
