The New Counterparts Video Is *Fire Emoji*

Swim Beneath My Skin is off their barely-four-days-old album, You’re Not You Anymore.

Canadian metal/hardcore folks Counterparts have released a new video for their song Swim Beneath My Skin. If you’re a fan of a) metal or b) hardcore, you’d be hard pressed not to enjoy it. Give it a whirl, what have you got to lose?

Swim Beneath My Skin is a song about how we allow ourselves to be so vulnerable it feels like another human being is literally making their way through your body,” says vocalist Brendan Murphy, It’s often terrifying but for me, it’s necessary.”

Counterparts will be returning to the UK and Europe this winter for a headline tour. Support comes from Polar and Napoleon.
