Watch Linkin Park And Friends Celebrate Chester Bennington At The Hollywood Bowl
Last night Linkin Park performed an incredibly moving show with many other artists at the Hollywood Bowl to honour the band’s late lead singer, Chester Bennington, who was found dead in his California home on July 20 after taking his own life.
His bandmates were joined by 30 other artists and bands, including Blink-182, Avenged Sevenfold and members of Sum 41 and System Of A Down.
The three hour show was called Linkin Park Celebrates Life in Honour of Chester Bennington and was led by Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda.
“I don’t have the words,” Shinoda can be heard saying as he greets the sold-out audience of Linkin Park fans at the beginning of the show. “I don’t think any of us do.”

Here at Kerrang! we’ve been working in conjunction with the Linkin Park team since the concert was announced to put together a commemorative issue of the magazine celebrating Chester and the event, which will be out on Wednesday.
The issue contains a twelve pages dedicated to Chester and the concert, including an exclusive tribute by Mike Shinoda, interviews with many of the guest stars at Friday’s event, and a full write-up featuring exclusive pictures from the night.
