Watch System Of A Down’s Chop Suey! Get The Sock Puppet Parody Treatment

System Of A Darn, anyone? No? Fine.

When Tim Berners-Lee created the internet and made it public almost three decades ago, few could have guessed the gigantic impact it would have on popular culture.

As far back as the mid-’90s, rock fans were happy enough with amateurish ASCII renderings of band logos, but no-one could have predicted this.

The people behind Sock Puppet Parody don’t mess around when it comes to genteel comic pokes at rock classics by the likes of Metallica, Slipknot and Green Day.

Their latest video takes System Of A Down’s 2001 single Chop Suey!, and throws some modified socks and bewildered dogs into the mix.

The result? Sock Chewy! by System Of A Pound.
