With Bring Me The Horizon's colossal 2013 single Can You Feel My Heart blowing up on TikTok lately, Jordan Fish has taken to the app to break down the instantly-recognisable sounds that make it such a standout track.

The musician joined Horizon when fourth album Sempiternal was being made, and instantly had a huge impact on the sonic evolution of the band – with Can You Feel My Heart in particular being a great example of his introduction of electronics and other ideas.

And, unpacking the single on TikTok, Jordan makes it all sound super-simple in a step-by-step guide of how it was made: "A few people have asked us how we made the Can You Feel My Heart sound," he says, before demonstrating the process in the studio. "First of all, we took Oli's vocals, then we chopped a tiny little section of the vocal, then we mapped it onto the keyboard… and that's it!"

Can You Feel My Heart was reportedly one of the first songs that Jordan wrote with Bring Me The Horizon, with bassist Matt 'Vegan' Kean telling Sugarscape of his influence: "When we were writing this song it was the first time we kinda realised that Jordan… was having a big impact on the writing." And damn, does he make it look easy…
