All Time Low cover The Weeknd’s Blinding Lights in epic style

All Time Low have shared their catchy AF cover of reigning chart hit Blinding Lights.

Everybody loves an All Time Low pop cover (remember how True Colours blew us all away?). Well, the Maryland band are back at it again. This time, Alex Gaskarth and co. have given The Weeknd the rock’n’roll treatment in their rendition of Blinding Lights.

Online fans praised the cover, with many praising the “versatility” of Alex’s vocals.

“I never knew I needed this cover until you guys did this cover! Love it!!!” a fan posted in the YouTube comments.

“I already loved Blinding Lights by The Weeknd but Blinding Lights by All Time Low? I AM IN LOVE!” another shared on Twitter.

While All Time Low haven’t announced any new projects just yet, the band teamed up with Heather Baron-Gracie from Pale Waves for PMA (Post Modern Anxiety); a tune about mental health which stemmed from writing songs during lockdown.

Speaking to Kerrang! last year, Alex broke down the meaning: “The song is about loneliness and isolation, and the realisation that this was a shared experience. There was something wholly unique about the fact that we were all collectively lonely as hell for a while there, and PMA talks about almost finding hope in the fact that we were all in it together.”

While All Time Low are keeping their next move under wraps, the band are set to play Reading & Leeds in the UK later this summer.
