Avril Lavigne Announces Virtual Benefit Concert For Lyme Disease

This is the "only chance" to see Avril Lavigne performing this year.

Avril Lavigne has announced a one-off livestream concert – the "only chance" to see her performing in 2020.

The Canadian pop-rocker will be performing a virtual benefit concert for Lyme disease – which she has battled herself – next month, with 100 per cent of the proceeds going towards The Avril Lavigne Foundation and Global Lyme Alliance.

"I'm so excited for fans and friends from all over the world to join me and my very special guests for #FightLyme, which will benefit the Lyme community," she says. "It's going to be an evening to remember full of hope, great music and exciting surprises!"

Avril's #FightLyme event will be streaming at 1am UK time on October 25, with tickets on sale now. As well as the standard option, there's also a VIP Soundcheck Pass which includes, "Exclusive access to Avril’s pre-show soundcheck, including a very personal Q&A. If you purchase this pass you will have the chance to submit a question to possibly be answered by Avril during the Q&A."
