Comedian Gilbert Gottfried Reveals He Is Slipknot's Tortilla Man

Somehow, I think we always knew.

As you all know, right now the world is in the grip of Slipknot’s Tortilla Man saga. Who is this mysterious masked percussionist? asks the entire rock community, biting their nails in curiosity. Now, an answer has been offered...though maybe not the one you think. Comedian Gilbert Gottfried -- yes, the parrot from Aladdin -- has announced that he is, in fact, the mysterious man behind the tortilla mask.

This big reveal occurred in a new video clip on Loudwire, in which the dulcet-voiced entertainer admits, “Well, I’d just like to finally tell you, I’m Tortilla Man from the band Slipknot." Gilbert then quickly adds, “And also listen to me you bunch of maggots, speaking of Mexican food, why is love like a fart? If you have to force it, it’s probably crap.”

Beautiful. Watch the revelatory video for yourself:

This follows the last week’s installment of The Tortiliad, when Tortilla Man posted a photo on Instagram of a tortilla on his face at a Pennsylvania Slipknot show. It was somehow kind of even creepier than his regular mask.
