Foo Fighters confirm there are “soon-to-be-announced” UK live dates

Foo Fighters’ tour dates kick off in just a couple of weeks’ time, and while we don’t have any confirmed UK shows right now, they’re on the way…

There’s just two weeks to go until Foo Fighters kick off their 2023 tour in the States, and hopefully we won’t have to wait too long for some shows on this side of the pond.

As spotted by the awesome Foo Fighters UK fan group on Twitter, the rock legends have put a message on their official website that there are “forthcoming and soon-to-be-announced” UK live dates – of which you’ll be able to get early ticket access to by pre-ordering any format of their new album But Here We Are.

Speaking of which, But Here We Are – the 11th Foos record and first since the loss of Taylor Hawkins last year – is due out on June 2. It has been described as “a brutally honest and emotionally raw response to everything Foo Fighters have endured recently”, and “a testament to the healing powers of music, friendship and family”.

A press release also shared that: “Sonically channeling the naivete of Foo Fighters’ 1995 debut, informed by decades of maturity and depth, But Here We Are is the sound of brothers finding refuge in the music that brought them together in the first place 28 years ago, a process that was as therapeutic as it was about a continuation of life.”
