Gojira Return With New Standalone Single, Another World

Listen to Another World, Gojira's thundering new standalone single.

After teasing #anotherplacetobe on social media yesterday, French metal kings Gojira have returned with a crushing new standalone single, Another World.

The quartet have also shared an animated music video to accompany the track – directed by Maxime Tiberhgien and Sylvain Favre – with a suitably ominous and futuristic message to match the lyrics.

“It is with great excitement that we’re presenting our new track Another World,” enthuses vocalist, guitarist and producer Joe Duplantier.

“Ferdinand Magellan once said: ‘It is with an iron will that we’ll embark on the most daring of all endeavours, to meet the shadowy future without fear and conquer the unknown.’ Is humanity doomed, or will we survive nature’s wrath? Take a glimpse into our shadowy future by watching our take on 1968’s Planet Of The Apes… Another World!”

Gojira were recently announced to be playing next year's Download Festival. The band join the likes of Deftones, Korn, A Day To Remember and Killswitch Engage, plus headliners KISS, Biffy Clyro and System Of A Down.
