Metallica Stream 1997 Set Taken "From A Dusty Old VHS Tape"

Watch Metallica's show in Salt Lake City on The Poor Touring Me Tour from 1997.

This week's Metallica Mondays saw the band unveil footage "from a dusty old VHS tape" from 1997, at a show in Salt Lake City on the The Poor Touring Me Tour.

While their weekly instalments so far have usually been accompanied by an introductory message from one of the band members, this time they kept it simple and respectful amid the ongoing protests following the death of George Floyd.

“On a day like today, our thoughts are with our worldwide Metallica family in these challenging times. Please look after yourselves and one another,” they said.

“We are so very saddened by the unfolding events. Please respect and be kind to your fellow humans, take care and we love and miss you.”
