Nine Inch Nails have announced their first live shows since 2018

As well as a special hometown gig in Cleveland with Ministry and Nitzer Ebb, Nine Inch Nails have announced a handful of 2022 U.S. dates – their first live shows in four years.

Having previously cancelled all 2021 live appearances due to COVID and things not being right for a "cathartic and celebratory return to live music", Nine Inch Nails have decided that things are now right for a return, announcing several live dates in the U.S. in spring and autumn.

As well as a special hometown show in Cleveland with Ministry and Nitzer Ebb in September, the duo – Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross – will be hitting the road in April and May for three gigs, and then September for more of a proper tour, kicking off in Denver at the Red Rocks Amphitheater, and finishing up at Cleveland's Blossom Music Center. In-between, they'll be playing in Troutdale, Bend, Berkeley, Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

It remains to be seen, though, if we'll have new music from NIN by the time they tour in April, with Trent confirming after last year's incredible Oscar win that, "We are planning on working on Nine Inch Nails material as soon as… probably tomorrow."
