1. Power Snatch – ASSIGNMENT

This week, Hayley Williams dropped the first EP from her and collaborator Daniel James' new band Power Snatch. The whole thing can be found on Bandcamp, with ASSIGNMENT acting as a waymarker on streaming services. Which is an unusual way of doing business, but that's half the point. Following so closely from last year's Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party, Power Snatch continue to show just how untethered and free-form Hayley's creativity can be.

2. Bilmuri – TWICE

Bilmuri's roll-out for his new album KINDA HARD this week has been very good. First, he posted the artwork, featuring himself shirtless, with a sword, petting a boar. Brilliant. Now, as a taster for the record dropping on April 10, we have the stomping TWICE, with its strutting riff and big, smooth-guy melodies. Listen to it twice (ahem...)

3. A.A. Williams – Wolves

No boars for A.A. Williams – she's got wolves instead. Very ethereal, floaty, gothic wolves, it seems. No word on when album number three is coming from the London-based queen of dusk, but this is a very good indicator that, once again, it's all going to be lovely. Catch her playing this on tour in the UK this week!
