Parks And Rec, Arrested Development stars join The Umbrella Academy cast

For its fourth and final season, The Umbrella Academy have brought in some huge names: beloved couple (in real life and Parks And Recreation) Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally, and comedy titan David Cross.

Netflix are bringing in some very exciting new names for the fourth and final season of The Umbrella Academy.

Originally based on the comic book series which was co-created and written by My Chemical Romance’s Gerard Way, the show will be coming to a close for Season 4 – but not without a star-studded ending, with new characters that are original creations away from Gerard’s version.

Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally – a beloved real-life couple, as well as the hilarious and disastrous Ron and Tammy Swanson/Tammy II in Parks And Recreation – are set to come in as ‘mild-mannered’ spouses Gene and Jean Thibedeau.

Elsewhere, Arrested Development star David Cross will play Sy Grossman, who is described as an ‘upstanding but shy business owner and family man’.

Teasing what’s to come, executive producer and showrunner Steve Blackman previously said that, “This new timeline has been dictated by [Reginald], who reprogrammed the universe at the end of the Season 3 finale. But because of Allison’s actions, he didn’t get to finish what he started. So, the siblings losing their powers isn’t going to be the only oddity in this timeline.”
