Aerosmith have announced that they’ve postponed several imminent shows on their current farewell tour to 2024, as Steven Tyler has suffered vocal cord damage.
The frontman posted a personal note on social media announcing the rescheduled dates, and confirming that he had been told not to sing for the next month after damaging his vocal cords this past Saturday night.
“I’m heartbroken to say I have received strict doctor’s orders not to sing for the next thirty days,” Steven writes. “I sustained vocal cord damage during Saturday’s show that led to subsequent bleeding. We’ll need to postpone a few dates so that we can come back and give you the performance you deserve.”
Aerosmith’s new dates are as follows:
29 Detroit, MI – Little Caesars Arena
14 Chicago, IL – United Center
17 Washington, DC – Capital One Arena
21 Toronto, ON – Scotiabank Arena
26 Raleigh. NC – PNC Arena
