blink-182's Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker have revealed – via social media – that the band are back in the studio working on new music.

While drummer Travis has also been concocting a project with Limp Bizkit's Wes Borland, it hasn't stopped the busiest sticksman in rock from joining up with bassist Mark to crack on with what appears to be the follow-up to 2016's California. Brilliant news!

The pop-punks will be beginning their Las Vegas residency next month, playing a 16-date 'Kings Of The Weekend' run at the Pearl Theater inside the Palms Resort & Casino, beginning on May 26 and running on select weekends through to November 17.

"When the Palms asked us to do a residency here in Vegas, we said 'Absolutely!'" says bassist Mark Hoppus. "Now, we just have to cast our showgirls, create our set list – a true throwback of Vegas classics with Sinatra, Liberace. Maybe we can even marry someone onstage… The possibilities in Vegas are endless."
