Blink-182, Fall Out Boy And Paramore Covered By The Lounge Kittens

Ever wanted to know what the likes of blink-182, Fall Out Boy, Paramore, Panic! At The Disco, Sum 41 and a load more pop-punk bands sound like if they were all lounge bands?

The Lounge Kittens have that covered with their latest medley of pop-punk anthems and a video that brings the summer vibes slap bang in the middle of winter. The trio have also launched a Pledge Campaign for their debut album, head to the following link to make your Pledge: www.pledgemusic.com/projects/TLK-sequins-and-cbombs

Pop punk signifies such an important part of us all growing up, rebelling against our parents, being stupid and annoying (yeah… we USED to be annoying…) and being alternative to the ‘normal’ crowd. Singing the medley is like experiencing a whole night at a rock bar in just 5 minutes – everyone’s favourite bits from songs filled with nostalgia. Let loose, live free, run around in a shopping trolley, fall off your skateboard and pretend it didn’t hurt, shave your head, wear cheap rubber bangles and have fun with the only people who really ‘understand you’; your mates,” says Jen, the red Kitten.

Check out the medley below and let us know what you think in the comments section.
