Ahead of the release of this month’s album ABSENCE, BVDLVD has shared another new single.

The musician – real name Josh Pearman – describes his latest track NUMB as his “first truly honest expression”, explaining that, “It’s the coldest tune on the entire album, and I love it deeply. I want to explore this sound further.

“NUMB marked the beginning of my realisation and honesty about my substance abuse, and is all about my coping mechanisms for anxiety. Smoking weed is probably the only thing that works, but it makes me complacent, which isn’t something I enjoy. The production by Skotskrs is insane!”

ABSENCE is due out on September 29 via Earache. Watch the video for NUMB below:
