Charming Liars have unveiled a new single, Where I End & You Begin.
The track arrives ahead of the band’s UK shows this month, and “is the sound of physical love inducing a state of disassociation” according to a statement from them.
“Its lyrics provide the perspective of drowning in an ocean of oneness while its aggressive synth heavy musical tones provide a soundscape resembling a growing storm,” Charming Liars explain.
“As a band, we’re very connected to sounds and vibes that surround the ’80s feel. Whilst in the creative process, we end up spending quite a lot of time exploring and trying different sonic landscapes. It’s a real source of inspiration and with this song, the tempo and feel of the verse really lead the way. The rest of the song wrote itself very quickly.”
