Creeper have announced that they'll now be closing Sunday night on the Dogtooth Stage at Download, as well as spooking it up on the Opus Stage on Friday afternoon.

Breaking the news, the band's social media spook Darcia promised that both shows would be different.

"This marks the first time the band have been invited to perform twice across one Download weekend, an honour they do not take lightly," she posted.

"Both performances will feature different songs as Creeper continue the celebration of the Sanguivore albums across the festival weekend.

"Prepare for blood, Donington."

It follows the news that nu-metal legends Static-X have cancelled all their remaining touring for the year, due to "serious medical issues" within the band.

"The situation is unavoidable and requires immediate attention," wrote the band on social media. "We are very sorry for the inconvenience, and we promise to return to the stage, bigger, stronger and faster in 2027.

"We appreciate your continued love and support and look forward to seeing you all again very soon!"

Everyone at Kerrang! wishes Static-X all the best and a speedy recovery.

Download takes place June 12 – 14
