Deftones and Dickies tease imminent collab

Deftones and Dickies are about to release a new collab today (Tuesday, November 4).

The Sacramento alt.metal kings unveiled the first look at this highly-anticipated drop over the weekend at their Dia De Los Deftones celebration in San Diego, but now it’s arriving online from 9am PT / 12pm ET (which is 5pm in the UK).

As The Nu-Metal Agenda point out, this is a collab that’s been quite literally decades in the making, with the band famously putting out their own bootleg merch that was “oven baked in Abe [Cunningham, drummer]’s oven back in ’93” according to Chino Moreno, and resulted in a cease and desist from Dickies.

Last summer, Dickies teamed up with Green Day to honour 30 years of Dookie and release an equally sought-after capsule collection.
