At The Gates, Opeth, Of Mice & Men and more perform In Flames' own festival, Borgholm Brinner.
The mighty In Flames kicked off August with a bang, courtesy of their incredible Borgholm Brinner music festival.
Held at Sweden's stunning Borgholm castle, the two-day event hosted some of heavy music's finest names – In Flames themselves, of course, plus Opeth, At The Gates, Of Mice & Men and more – from August 2-3, and was in fact the second year in a row that the band put the bash on.
“This first year doing Borgholm Brinner was such a surreal moment in our career,” said vocalist Anders Fridén of the festival's announcement. “It’s always been a dream to do something of that calibre, and it was more magical and special than we could have ever imagined.”
