Last week, Hayley Williams officially announced her new band Power Snatch during a show on Apple Music 1. Now, after much teasing and leaving little snippets online, they've surprise-dropped their three-track EP1 on Bandcamp.

The band sees the Paramore singer once again teaming up with collaborator Daniel James, with whom she worked on last year's 5/5-rated solo album Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party.

The three songs, DUH, HOLE IN THE CEILING and the previously-released DMs, are up on their page and available to buy as a cassette now.

In an October 2025 interview, Hayley explained of her need to make some solo material away from her day job: “It wasn’t time to make another Paramore record, but I had a lot of shit to say, so I’ve done what I’ve done for myself and made this record. I’m finally willing to, like, let that happen. And it’s okay that it’s me by myself and not Paramore right now. Paramore will always have its time because it’s just what we do. We cycle back in and out of it. We resent it one minute. We wanna, like, wear matching clothes in the next minute.”
