Idiot Tries To Sell Lamb Of God's Stolen Guitar Online

On Sunday, we reported that Lamb Of God were robbed of two one-of-a-kind guitars in Phoenix, Arizona. The theft was announced by guitarist Willie Adler in a furious message via Instagram. Now, the Phoenix New Times reports that one of those guitars, Adler's ESP Warbird, showed up on for $300, complete with the guitarist's name in the description.

Apparently, a Peoria Facebook user who goes by the name of Jay Thrash discovered the guitar on OfferUp, being sold by a user who calls himself "Clash With." He then posted a screenshot of the sale on Facebook:

Jay attempted to buy the guitar so he could meet up with the seller and give him what he deserved. "I sent him full offer," he wrote. "Tryna see if i can meet up..beat his fuckin ass."

Jay then messaged Willie Adler himself, to make sure the guitar was actually his by providing the serial number. Adler responded, saying the ax in question was "100% mine." Here's a screenshot provided to the New Times:

Sadly, Thrash was unable to buy the guitar, and the user on OfferUp changed his public profile and picture. Jay went on to tell the press, "Stealing someone's work -- their livelihood -- it's like they're a cockroach."

Meanwhile, the Ak-Chin Pavilion, the venue at which the guitar was stolen and whose staff Willie Adler implied were responsibly for the theft, released a statement saying, "The venue is cooperating fully with local law enforcement. We cannot comment further as this is an ongoing investigation."

We commend Mr. Thrash on his attempt to get Willie's guitar returned, and hope that the gear thief does in fact get his ass beat. In the meantime, if you want to show solidarity to Lamb Of God, go see them live at one of their current tour dates with Slayer, Cannibal Corpse, and Amon Amarth:
