Machine Head came to The K! Pit, in association with Rizla, and damn near destroyed the place
This month Kerrang! and Machine Head made history, as we invited the Bay Area legends to play inside The K! Pit, in association with Rizla. The super-intimate show at Blondies in London was packed with 50 hardcore fans, baying for blood, throwing themselves and others through the air and into the chaos down front.
We had crowdsurfers, shoe drinkers, more crowdsurfers, a dude shotgunning a can, even more crowdsurfers and Robb Flynn being an absolute don throughout. Machine Head were only scheduled to play for 30 minutes but enjoyed it so much they fired on all cylinders for over an hour – including a handful of Sabbath, Sepultura and Nirvana covers.
