“It’s gonna be While She Sleeps on steroids, basically!”

That’s what Loz Taylor recently promised Kerrang! when the frontman excitedly looked ahead to the band’s headline show at Ally Pally over the weekend. And they more than delivered on those words.

The northern metalcore superstars – along with Polaris and Bury Tomorrow – gave over 10,000 fans one of the finest nights of heavy music in 2023 with a sold-out showing at north London’s giant venue on September 23. All three bands showed that they’ve got the tunes, as well as the presence and production, for the country’s biggest stages.

But of course it was the headliners who came out on top, celebrating every chapter of their career so far – including their upcoming album SELF HELL via the live debut of the title-track – with an 18-song setlist that thrilled all corners of their dedicated Sleeps Society.

And naturally, K! headed along to capture this absolute stunner of a night.

Here’s how Polaris and Bury Tomorrow got on…
