Jimmy Eat World announce UK and European tour, with support from PUP
Jimmy Eat World and PUP are hitting the road together this November – and they’re wrapping up their tour with a massive date at London’s Alexandra Palace.
Ahead of their UK and European tour dates this summer, Jimmy Eat World have kickstarted their next era with new single Something Loud.
Jimmy Eat World are back with new music! The Arizona emo rockers have just dropped new single and video, Something Loud.
Frontman Jim Adkins reveals he was inspired to write this one after seeing the internet lose its mind over the much buzzed-about When We Were Young line-up, and thinking back to Jimmy Eat World's earlier days.
“While I thought I made the most of the early band days, I realise now I missed some stuff,” Jim admits. “You’re in such a hurry to grow out of the formidable years. Like shit-togetherness is going to magically arrive when you hit some age you thought ‘grown-ups’ were. Yeah, it doesn’t work that way. But maybe the thing age and experience do reveal is that pivotal moments are hard to grasp when you are in them.”
