Here’s one thing thrash, death metal, and hardcore punk fans can agree upon: Homewrecker are fucking awesome. And thankfully, for those fans, the crusty, grimy, heavy-as-shit outfit from Ashtabula, Ohio, have a brand-new video they’re premiering right here with Kerrang!.

Bound By Validation, the third single off of their third LP, Hell is Here Now (due out April 27 on Good Fight Music) is one hell of a dark track – both sonically and lyrically.

“Bound By Validation focuses on another interpretation of Hell," explains guitarist and vocalist Matt Barnum. “[It represents] the chaos that can consume your mind if you are constantly seeking approval, and can’t do anything based on your own consciousness. Second guessing and doubting yourself could lead to a downward spiral of mental health issues, creating a personal hell inside your mind.”

And as for the creepy shadow figures that pop up throughout the vid? “They represent those [negative] feelings as they lurk over you through time,” he mentions.

Perhaps these boys would do well to adopt a puppy?

Jokes aside, this is an incredible band to keep your eye on – and the new video below is further proof of that.
