Rage Against The Machine Announce Two More Festival Headlining Dates
Rage Against The Machine will perform at both the Firefly Music Festival and the Boston Calling Festival.
Among the many killer bands who announced they'd be reuniting last year, Rage Against The Machine were one of the most exciting. After announcing their reunion, the rap-metal pioneers revealed that they would be performing at this year's Coachella. Now, the band have confirmed two other festivals that they'll be headlining two other big festivals in 2020.
The first is the Boston Calling Festival, scheduled for May 22 - 24 in Boston, Massachusetts. Rage will be headlining the second day of the fest, with Foo Fighters and Red Hot Chili Peppers headlining the other two days. Playing before RATM will be Run The Jewels, RJD2, Koffee, and more.

The second is the Firefly Music Festival, which will go down June 18 - 21 in Dover, Delaware. The band look to be one of the heavier acts in the line-up, with other artists including Billie Eilish, blink-182, Halsey, and Khalid.

The only bad thing about the RATM reunion is that it caused the dissolution of Prophets Of Rage, the group featuring three-quarters of Rage alongside Public Enemy's Chuck D. and Cypress Hill's B-Real. But in his statement to the public, B-Real took the whole thing in stride, and kept up the band's message.
“I want to say thank you to the fans that supported Prophets of Rage for the time we’ve been rocking together. It’s been an honour to rock stages and people of all ages with these guys. It’s been a great time and great memories in a short time. Rockin’ alongside of Chuck and Tom has been amazing to say the least. It was fun while it lasted and I hope we left a big impression and that the music has been a source of inspiration for those that needed it. That was the purpose we got together. So I say to y’all stay informed, stay engaged and fight the good fight.”
