Within the past 12 months alone, we’ve seen Green Day, Knocked Loose, Poppy and most recently Good Charlotte perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live! – and whoever books the bands there has made another top-notch choice, bringing in Spiritbox this week.
Fresh from playing Wembley Stadium (no big deal) with Linkin Park and announcing the second leg of their Tsunami Sea U.S. tour, the quartet hit the TV studios to perform Soft Spine. Filmed in their signature black-and-white, it’s an unsurprisingly sleek clip that sounds absolutely huge and really gets the audience moving – check it out below.
Recently speaking to Kerrang! about the band’s continued success and how she processes it all, vocalist Courtney LaPlante explained: “I think what grounds me in everything we experience is confidence in the knowledge that there is an alternate reality where the journey we’ve been on doesn’t happen to us, and knowing that we’re making the same music and expressing the same things regardless of whether we’re playing to 10 people or 10,000 people.
“We’re still going to play the music that we feel compelled to play. We’re still going to make music that we feel compelled to make. That’s how it’s always going to be. That’s what success looks like to me. It really is.”
