The All-American Rejects have officially announced the release date for their fifth album.
Entitled Sandbox, the new record – the follow-up to 2012’s Kids In The Street – will arrive independently on May 15. It’ll include recent singles Easy Come, Easy Go and Get This, and a press release promises that fans will hear ‘both the anthemic punch and emotional nuance that have defined the band’s legacy’.
In March 2025, frontman Tyson Ritter revealed that it had taken “a lot of fireside chats” and a “lot of mending fences” for TA-AR to get together and work on a new LP. “That’s exciting,” he told PAPER. “I think I said in an interview, people don’t really want a new All-American Rejects record. People want their time capsule and want to jump into it and feel like they smell CK One and it makes them feel young. But the question I pose is, ‘What if we can say something now? What if we can actually resonate?’”
