The Gospel Youth Have Covered Pop Singer Shawn Mendes

Nope, this isn't another song lifted from the Punk Goes... series, this is The Gospel Youth having a bit of fun and covering pop singer Shawn Mendes.

They've covered his huge hit, There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back, which was the soundtrack to their time on Warped Tour in the summer.

Talking about the track, singer Sam Little said: "We totally fell in love with this song when we were on Warped tour this summer and it became a big part of our soundtracks on our ridiculously long drives. When we got back to the UK, Julian [Bowen] produced this full band cover of it and we just really wanted to release it for people to hear. It's such a feel good song and I hope we did it justice!"

And, er, here's how the original sounds...

Yeah, just like when A Day To Remember covered Kelly Clarkson's Since You've Been Gone, The Gospel Youth have turned this Shawn Mendes track into a rock club rager.
