Dave Grohl Is In Bill & Ted Face The Music

The Foo Fighters mainman has dusted off his acting shoes for the new Bill & Ted movie

The trailers look awesome, the soundtrack – featuring Weezer, Mastodon and Lamb Of God – looks awesome, and now eagle-eyed users of IMDB will notice that the cameos for Bill & Ted Face The Music look awesome as well. That is: if you look it up, you’ll see on the movie page and Dave Grohl’s own page that the Foo Fighters frontman is down to play himself. Sadly, no other details have been made available, but hopefully it’ll be as good as his three-second appearance in The X‑Files…

A new clip has also been released ahead of the movie’s release on August 28. CHECK IT OUT

The movie finds the titular heroes, played by Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter, as ageing small-town dudes, but still best friends, 29 years since we last saw them. In a world gone wrong, it’s up to them to set things right again, this time by seeking out a song that will set their world right and bring harmony in the universe, helped by their daughters, a new batch of historical figures and music legends. Presumably Dave Grohl, like.

Bill & Ted Face The Music is released on August 28.
