Green Day Announce 2021 European Shows With Manic Street Preachers And Frank Carter

On top of next year’s Hella Mega Tour, Green Day will be playing select shows in Europe with the Manic Street Preachers and Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes.

Earlier in the week, Green Day confirmed their return to the UK and Europe next year on the Hella Mega Tour with Fall Out Boy and Weezer. Now, the punk-rock behemoths have announced additional shows while they’re here – with select dates featuring Manic Street Preachers and Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes.

According to greenday.com/tour, Billie Joe Armstrong and the gang will seemingly be crossing the pond earlier than their Hella Mega tourmates, with their first European show scheduled to take place in Moscow on May 28 (support comes from Pornofilmy).

Then, they’ll be moving on to Helsinki, Stockholm and Alesund with the Manics and Frank, and Berlin with Weezer and Frank. Following that, the Hella Mega Tour will have a date in Vienna on June 9, before Green Day headline German twin festivals Rock am Ring and Rock im Park on June 12-13. Later that month, the Hella Mega Tour run kicks off in Paris on June 20.

Posting about their tour dates with Green Day, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes wrote: “Still gutted that our shows with Green Day couldn’t go ahead this year but so happy to announce we’ll be back on the road with them next year.”
