Here’s how You Me At Six made their new album SUCKAPUNCH in Thailand

You Me At Six have released a new mini documentary diving into the making of their new LPSUCKAPUNCH.

You Me At Six are taking fans inside the making of their new record SUCKAPUNCH ahead of its release on January 15.

Amazon Music joined the band in the studio in Thailand to capture the creative process behind album number seven for a new six-minute mini doc – and it very much looks as though that creative process’ involved lots of messing about by the beach and in the pool, and just generally having a damn good time in a beautiful place.

Obviously this recording process is somewhat unique,” explains frontman Josh Franceschi at the start of the video, in comparison to records we’ve made before because we are in a part of the world that we’ve never even been [to] as a band.”

No distractions are around us,” adds guitarist Max Helyer, and having amazing food cooked for you everyday, having a swimming pool, having a gym here… it’s just kind of getting our mind set on making the best music we possibly can do.”

That really is the life, isn’t it? Check out the making of SUCKAPUNCH below:
