My Chem’s Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge Has Re-Entered The Billboard 200 Charts Again

Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge by My Chemical Romance has once again re-entered the Billboard 200.

Not even for the first time this year, My Chemical Romances Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge has re-entered the Billboard 200 charts.

Following its re-entry at 185 last month, the New Jersey emo heroes’ second full-length has now re-entered the charts and climbed up to number 110, according to the Billboard Charts Twitter account. The album’s peak position was actually only 28, and it has since spent an impressive 82 weeks in and out of the charts since its release on June 82004.

In March last year, Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge re-entered the Billboard 200 for the first time in over a decade, presumably in the run-up to the 15th anniversary of the album. This time, though, there’s not necessarily an obvious anniversary to pin it on – other than the fact that it’s just an absolutely brilliant record. Though the band did release exclusive new vinyl variants of Three Cheers…, plus The Black Parade and Danger Days: The True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys, via Urban Outfitters in September, so perhaps that’s another reason why?

Anyway, it rules that fans are still listening to My Chem so much that they’re getting back in the charts. Keep it up, MCRmy.
