Royal Blood are teasing a 2022 UK headline tour

Royal Blood have announced the UK cities they’ll be performing in next year on tour.

Following the release of new album Typhoons on April 30, Royal Blood are set to hit the road for a 2022 headline tour.

The Brighton duo – Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher – have confirmed the UK cities they’ll be performing in next year, revealing that Bournemouth, Birmingham, Cardiff, London, Nottingham, Leeds, Manchester and Glasgow are all penned in (full dates and venues will be announced soon). What’s more, you can get pre-sale access already if you pre-order Typhoons right here.

Despite not being able to play live due to the pandemic, frontman Mike stated in January that being forced to not being able to play live and being isolated” was really valuable to the writing process of Typhoons.

The rulebook was miles away,” he said. And suddenly these songs started forming and Ben came down and then we were like, Hang on a minute, these are really, really good.’ So by the time we were allowed to go back into the studio, we had like these three brand-new ideas that were just like, They’re all going to be singles.’ They were just, like, the best we’ve ever made.

So from a kind of creative and musical standpoint, we had this whole experience of being forced to not being able to play live and being isolated has been really, really positive. And if anything, it’s just thrown us deeper and got us more involved in the kind of recording process. It’s been really, really good.”
