Architects have teamed up with Amazon Music to share a new orchestral version of their 2020 single Animals.

The Brighton metallers recorded the rendition at Abbey Road Studios to absolutely stunning effect, enthusing of the project, "This was an amazing opportunity to reimagine Animals entirely. We took away the jagged synths, replaced them with an orchestra and recorded it in the world-famous Studio 2 at Abbey Road Studios. The result is unlike anything we’ve ever done before. We hope you enjoy it."

Speaking to Kerrang! earlier this year about the creative process behind Animals, Dan Searle explained, "Sometimes it’s good to acknowledge when something comes together quickly, creatively, especially when it’s a track that ends up being the first single from an album. This literally came together in a couple of days, with Sam [Carter] and I sending it from Bali to Josh [Middleton] in the UK, adding bits while he was asleep, and him adding bits while we were asleep.

"I remember when we’d finished the vocals, we pressed play and I instantly knew we had something special and that it would be the lead single. It all slotted together so perfectly out of thin air, so rapidly. God, if we could always be that quick, we’d have so much free time!”
