Watch Metallica Perform On Howard Stern’s Radio Show

Last week, Metallica virtually dropped into U.S. shock-jock Howard Stern’s SiriusXM show for a big chat from their rehearsal room. We learned that Lars Ulrich, Wouldn’t change a thing about Lulu”, and the reason the band didn’t adopt the glam look of other budding bands when they were starting out in the early 80s was that they were, far too ugly to look like women”, according to James Hetfield.

Good larks all. But the lads also performed All Within My Hands, The Unforgiven and Wherever I May Roam while they were there, as well as asking Howard if he “[plays] with himself” after learning the DJ plays sitar and thus could have done the intro to the latter. Banter.
