There’s been a last-minute change in the line-up for 2000trees as Lambrini Girls have dropped out while The Wildhearts have joined the bill.

Lambrini Girls have not yet disclosed why they have dropped out, but booker James Scarlett confirms on the latest episode of the podcast 2 Promoters 1 Pod that Militarie Gun have been bumped up into their 5:40pm Main Stage slot on Friday. This also means there’s good news for anyone whose hearts were breaking at the thought of choosing between them and Sunny Day Real Estate, which made for one of this year’s most despaired over clashes.

Meanwhile, The Wildhearts will be performing in Militarie Gun’s old slot at 19:35 on The Cave. James explains on the podcast that their team had been hoping to get them booked for 2026 rather than 2027, owing to vocalist Ginger Wildheart’s recent diagnosis with cancer.

The Wildhearts have had a busy summer, as this is the third UK festival they’ve played this year after Takedown and Download. Between those, they also played numerous other shows across the country in the spring.

2000trees returns to Upcote Farm in Cheltenham next week from July 8-11.
