Benji Webbe’s attackers are currently on police bail…
Two Newport women have been arrested after an incident involving Skindred frontman Benji Webbe last Friday.
According to the South Wales Argus, a 40-year-old woman from Newport was arrested for assault (wounding with intent), and a 29-year-old woman, also from Newport, has been arrested for affray and criminal damage. Both women are currently on police bail.
The singer, who was left needing 24 stitches, as seen in the photo below, was on his way home after a night out in his hometown of Newport, when the assault happened.
