Alice In Chains Pay Tribute to Vinnie Paul With Nutshell At Hellfest In France

Our buds at Metal Injection report that during Alice In Chains' French Hellfest performance on June 24th, founding guitarist Jerry Cantrell paid tribute to Layne and Mike but also said a few words about his close friend Vinnie Paul.

"Almost every night, we like to play a song for our good friend [late Alice in Chains frontman] Layne Staley and [late Alice in Chains bassist] Mike Starr, and we're gonna do that," Jerry Cantrell said before launching into Nutshell. "But I'd like to play this one for Vinnie Paul."
