An absolute pro when it comes to incredible and unique covers, Cassyette has shared a reworked version of Lady Gaga’s Disease.
The Essex nu-gen star has unveiled a new screamcore rendition of the October single on social media, with fans absolutely loving it and calling for a full version, and Gaga herself commenting on TikTok that she’s “obsessed” (!!!). Meanwhile, Cassyette’s pal Bambie Thug replied on Instagram: “Please god help this girl she has many demons inside her.”
While we agree that an extended cover absolutely needs to happen, there’s plenty of Cassyette material to digest this year as she released her 4/5-rated debut album This World Fucking Sucks in August. She also told us on the Kerrang! In Conversation podcast that she’d been writing even more new stuff, admitting that, “I just want to write another album, to be honest. I’ve started writing something but I don’t know what it will be. I’ve started writing new music.
“I try not to overthink. I get hung up on the ‘life is too short’ thing, so if I start overthinking the future and overplanning it, it freaks me out, because you can’t. You can’t have things that you want to do. I like having things that seem feasible to me. And what seems feasible to me is playing to more people and releasing more music. And if anything else happens on the way it’s just a bonus!”
