Gwen Stefani gives No Doubt’s Don't Speak and Spiderwebs a new country twang…
Exciting news! Gwen Stefani has gone country… in an amusing new segment on the The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
The No Doubt icon transformed the California ska-punks' hits Don't Speak and Spiderwebs as part of a new sketch with Jimmy, in which the host played the character of Buck Pinto on a new advert for fake album Gwen's Gone Country.

“Howdy, I’m Buck Pinto, here with a new record I think y’all are going to be mighty excited for see,” says Jimmy/Buck. “If you’re like me, you love the sweet sounds of down-home country music, but if you’re also like me, you love the rockin’ music of multitalented superstar Gwen Stefani. Problem is, you got to choose one or the other.”
As well as the new re-workings of No Doubt's Tragic Kingdom classics, Gwen also country-d up her 2004 smash Hollaback Girl, and, quite frankly, it's just as catchy as the original. Petition to make a real Gwen's Gone Country album, please?
