After Higher Power filmed their set in The K! Pit earlier this month, frontman Jimmy Wizard admitted that he "got a bit emotional", having been so deprived of live music in 2020. And we're not gonna lie to you, we feel exactly the same after reliving the Leeds hardcore crew's killer set.

The quintet hit Blondies in London to perform an audience-free show in line with governmental guidelines, airing many choice cuts from their brilliant 2020 record 27 Miles Underwater. And though the venue was empty, Higher Power still put on a killer-sounding and incredibly captivating set.

“It’s hard to gauge the impact of the record, because normally we should’ve been out there touring on the back of it and seeing how people have been reacting to it,” explains Jimmy. “I hope people are still out there discovering it, and I only have fond memories of it because we loved making it and we’re really proud of it.”

Well, we had an absolute blast filming it, if that counts? Anyway, watch Higher Power in The K! Pit in association with Nordic Spirit below:
