Within Temptation head to Ukraine to film video for new single A Fool’s Parade

Within Temptation have just announced that they’ve finished filming a new music video in Ukraine.

Singer Sharon den Adel has been in Kyiv with renowned Ukrainian director Indy Hait to work on the video for upcoming single A Fool’s Parade, which is due out on April 5 and will “highlight Russia’s pretence regarding the war, and condemns its lies, ongoing crimes and brutal intentions”, according to a press release. (The track itself is also a collaboration with Ukrainian producer Alex Yarmak.)

It’s not the first time the Dutch band have highlighted the topic, either, having been involved with the Ukraine Aid OPS foundation. Meanwhile, last year’s brilliant album Bleed Out did plenty to address the “daunting” times people are experiencing right now.

“We’ve just finished recording our video for A Fool’s Parade in Ukraine!” Within Temptation say of their newest endeavour. “We are so grateful for this experience, the warm welcome and all the people who’ve played a part in this. You are amazing and of great inspiration to us. This is a trip we will never forget, thank you.”
